Pickup at Varanasi and check-in near the ghats. Evening on a private boat for the Dashashwamedh aarti, then dinner overlooking the river.
The three-city circuit, done properly
Kashi for Shiva, Prayag for the confluence, Ayodhya for Rama. Families who make this trip usually want all three in one journey rather than three separate flights, and geographically it works: Varanasi to Prayagraj is three hours, Prayagraj to Ayodhya is three and a half, and each leg is a morning rather than a day.
Seven days is what it takes to do this without any city feeling like a stopover. Varanasi gets three nights because it needs them, Prayagraj gets two, Ayodhya gets one full day and a second morning. One vehicle, one driver, no repacking beyond the two hotel changes.
Pickup at Varanasi and check-in near the ghats. Evening on a private boat for the Dashashwamedh aarti, then dinner overlooking the river.
The 5.30 a.m. boat from Assi to Manikarnika, breakfast in the old city, then Kashi Vishwanath darshan, Kaal Bhairav and Annapurna. A deliberately free afternoon for the lanes.
A morning at Sarnath - Dhamek Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar and the museum - then the three-hour drive west. Evening at Bade Hanuman and the Yamuna bank at Mankameshwar.
An early boat to the Triveni Sangam for the ritual dip with a Prayagwal priest, then Akshayavat and Patalpuri inside the fort. Afternoon at Anand Bhawan and the Allahabad Museum.
A three-and-a-half hour transfer north. Check in, then Hanuman Garhi and Kanak Bhawan in the late afternoon, ending at Nayaghat for the sunset Saryu aarti.
Early darshan at the Ram Mandir, then Dashrath Mahal and Nageshwarnath. A free afternoon, and Ram Ki Paidi lit up in the evening.
A last morning at Guptar Ghat, then a drop at Ayodhya Dham junction, Ayodhya airport or Lucknow.
This is how the tour usually runs, not a contract. Every itinerary is rewritten around your dates, your pace and your group — tell us what you want to change and we will rebuild it.

Message UsIt is the shortest comfortable length. Six is possible if you cut a Varanasi night, but that is the night people regret losing. Anything under six turns the trip into a series of drives.
Yes, and it is extraordinary, but it is a different trip - accommodation moves out of the city, timings change and we quote it separately. Tell us your dates and we will tell you honestly what to expect.
Ayodhya airport works, though connections are still limited. Lucknow is two and a half hours further and has far more flights - both drops are included in the package.
This is the itinerary we recommend for them, precisely because the driving is broken into short mornings. Tell us at booking and we will arrange wheelchair-friendly boarding at the ghats and assistance in both darshan queues.
