Ayodhya has changed more in the last three years than in the previous three hundred. Wide approach roads, a restored riverfront at Ram Ki Paidi and a stream of visitors that now runs all year rather than only at festivals. The Ram Mandir is the reason most people come, and it deserves an unhurried morning rather than a rushed hour between trains.
What has not changed is the pace once you step away from the temple. The Saryu still moves slowly past the ghats, the aarti at Nayaghat still draws a local crowd, and Hanuman Garhi still asks for seventy-six steps before it lets you in. We build the days around darshan timings, which means early starts and long, genuinely free afternoons.

An early start for darshan at the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, when the queues are shortest and the light on the sandstone is best. Afterwards Dashrath Mahal and Nageshwarnath, then a long free afternoon before Ram Ki Paidi and Lata Mangeshkar Chowk in the evening.
